Project description:

This two-year project budget allocation from the national government has achieved the restoration of twenty-eight (28) historic sites and structures in the provinces of Bohol and Cebu which was damaged by the magnitude 7.2 earthquake in 13 October 2013.

Baclayon Church (Immaculate Concepcion Parish)

This photo was taken on 17 October 2013, four days after the earthquake. The bell tower and portico of the church was severely damaged.

This photo was taken on 27 February 2018, the day of the formal turnover of completed restoration work and reopening of the church. A holy mass was celebrated by the Diocese of Tagbilaran and the people of Baclayon with Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines by Pope Francis.
