Project description:

The project accomplished the structural stabilization and restoration of the architectural elements of the historic bahay na bato. The house was donated by the Carino family to the City Government of Candon with the aim of adaptively reusing it as a local museum. The NHCP repaired and rehabilitated the house to make the house structurally stable. The restoration work entailed partial dismantling and replacement of all wooden parts of the structure including the roof trusses, walls, floors, doors and windows.
