Project description:
The restoration project included the restoration of the architectural and structural integrity of the old adobe walls of the church sacristy, which has been roofless for more than a year. The main scope of work was the reconstruction of the roof structure and strengthening of the old adobe walls. The old doors and windows were repaired, and missing parts were repaired.
The restored sacristy will be adaptively reused as an ecclesiastical museum to be managed by the San Bartolome Parish.

The left side wall of the sacristy was hidden by the layers of concrete additions through the years. |
The perspective drawing shows that restoration work will reveal the covered old walls and create a new entrance portico that will harmonize with the old structure. |
