| The comservation team found it hard to remove gypsum boards and adhesive from the sufaces of the main lobby. This hall will be restored to its marble-painted surfaces which have been badly damaged. |

Incompatible additions and architectural finishes were already removed from the building. Restoration of the architectural integrity of this Juan Arellano-designed building is the aim of the conservation work.
